This will be a quick post. I just wanted to share how Konnor's appointment went. He did awesome. He only cried a little when they gave him the shots. We took the band aids off immediately this time since last time that seemed to help. He didn't really fuss at all the rest of the night. He did wake up a couple times during the night but he went back to sleep quickly. I'm hoping the waking up was from the shots and not the start of a week where he doesn't sleep well. I have been enjoying him sleeping 9 hours too much for it to change again haha.
Konnor weighed 17lbs 4oz which was in the 80th percentile and he was 27 1/4 inches long which was "off the charts" as the doctor put it. They wrote it as the 99th percentile. Tey also do head circumference which was average in the 50th percentile. Developmentally he also seemed to be doing the things they told us to watch for like putting stuff in his mouth, babbling, and starting to roll over. Hopefully he continues to grow and learn more. We are having more and more fun with him each day. We love seeing him smile at us when he sees us or when we go to get him out of his crib in the morning. It's also cute to see him smile at the dogs as he watches them walk around the room.
So overall the visit was a success. We are a little sad it will be our last visit most likely at this pediatricians office before we move. We really liked all the doctors. We hope we can find somewhere just as nice in Maryland.
