Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!  We spent the night finishing up one of our scary movies and being sad that the other one we rented wouldn't play :(  Korey handed out candy to trick or treaters while I made sure Bella didn't charge the door.  Chloe also helped greet the trick or treaters and only managed to sneak out the door a few times :)
On Monday we took a tour of the hospital and got to see the rooms where we will deliver the baby and where we will stay afterwards until we go home.  On Tuesday we had another appointment.  Everything was great at the appointment.  They told us they don't really like to let people go much past their 40 weeks without inducing so Konnor will be here soon no matter what! :)  Hard to believe there is only 13 more days until the due date!  We go again for another appointment next Tuesday.. it could end up being our last appointment!
This weekend Korey and I plan to go out for our "dating" anniversary.  On Nov. 3rd it will have been 14 years since Korey asked me "out" in high school.  We figured we better get at least one more good date night in before we are taking Konnor with us, or finding a babysitter before we go out!
Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

Corn Maze and Pumpkins

We made it to the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Boone Hall today!  It was the first time either of us had been to a corn maze (at least that we can remember).  Korey did a wonderful job following the map and guiding us through the corn.  I would have definitely gotten us lost or turned around and we wouldn't have had as much fun!  We took lots of pictures along the way.  After the maze we went and picked out some pumpkins to carve.  We might try and carve them tonight still, or we might just wait and save that for tomorrow!  We can't wait to take Konnor to a pumpkin patch and corn maze some day!
We also managed to stick with our Halloween scary movie watching tonight (Korey did actually fall asleep for some of the movie last night).   Tonight we rented Silent House.  It was okay.  Not really what I was expecting.  I don't think I'd watch it again.

8 days of Halloween

Korey and I decided now that the night shift is over and he's home at night, we will try and watch a scary movie each night until Halloween.  13 days of Halloween probably would've been better but there just would not have been time to watch movies when he was sleeping during the day and having to rush to go to work at night... so 8 will just have to do :) Tonight we decided to watch an older movie that we owned: Hide and Seek.  Neither of us can remember how it ends.

We had our weekly appointment today and everything is still going well.  It doesn't sound like he will be coming any time super soon, but you never know... these things can happen quickly.  I don't really  mind when he comes but earlier would be better.  As long as he is healthy though we will be happy even if he shows up late! Only around 20 more days!!
Tomorrow we are going to go to the Pumpkin Patch at Boone Hall to check out the corn maze and maybe pick out some pumpkins to carve.  Should be a fun day!

All our bags are packed... we're ready to go...?

Well not exactly haha.  But for the most part we have the bags packed.  I think I have everything we will need for Konnor in a bag and ready to go.  For the most part I have a bag for myself, except for the things I use daily and will throw in last minute.  I do have a list though for my bag so I can remember to put those extra things in there.  Hopefully when the time comes we have plenty of time and we don't panic and just forget everything.  Although, who am i kidding... even when I'm not rushed or in a panic I still manage to usually forget something and make a trip or two back to the house!

At our appointment last week we found out that Konnor is head down!  Hopefully that means he will stay that way and everything will go well.  It's hard to believe we are now at 37 weeks and he could come any time now and be okay!  The time still seems to be going fast, but the not knowing when it will happen is what is hard!  We have another appointment tomorrow and then Korey has a few days off before he starts his next shift so hopefully we'll find some fun stuff to do outside since the weather has been nice and it is cooling down a little!

Only one more month???

I can't believe that the due date is only a month away!  I feel like these last few weeks are flying by, but that is okay with me!  I think we are ready to meet our little guy!!
Mom and Dad Witt were in town visiting last week so we watched some football, did some baby shopping, ate in Charleston, and made a quick trip to see the beach!  They were staying in Santee, SC so I went up to hang out one of the days while poor Korey had to work.  We visited the wildlife refuge and took a lot of pictures (even though we really didn't see many birds or any other animals while we were there).  It was a nice day!

35 weeks

I can still see my feet haha

Everything has been going well as far as the pregnancy goes.  I am definitely starting to feel large and it is getting harder to find clothes that fit and don't look weird.  I am determined to still not really buy any maternity clothes.  Especially now that there isn't much time left.  I'll stick with my belly band for my pants and long shirts and tights as much as I can :)  It helps that most of this pregnancy was over the summer and that it stays warm here for so long because being able to wear dresses a lot was a life saver!
We have appointments every week now.  At our next appointment they are supposed to be doing a position check so hopefully we will get one last ultrasound and we are keeping our fingers crossed that they tell us Konnor is head down and ready to go haha :)  He has to come on time because I bought him a Thanksgiving Day onsie :)
The dogs are ready for Konnor to get here too

baby shower, finished room, and only 5 weeks left!

We had our last baby shower this past weekend.  We were super lucky to get to have three showers.  One back home in Pennsylvania with family and friends, one in New Hampshire with our friends, and one here in Charleston with friends.  We couldn't ask for better family and friends.  We received such great and thoughtful gifts at all of our showers!

I think we have finally finished Konnor's room.  We have all the books on the shelves, pictures on the walls, clothes put in drawers.  There of course are still a few things that need put away and some things left to purchase but for the most part we are ready!

Tomorrow will be 35 weeks!  Hopefully Konnor will arrive on time and we won't have too much longer to wait until we can meet him!  We are both getting very excited the closer it gets!  November 13th is not too far away!  For now here is the 34 week picture!

Maternity Photos

While we were home visiting, we were lucky enough to have Anna Dinger take some maternity photos for us!  She did a great job and we love them.  We chose a few to hang in our collage on the wall in Konnor's room and I figured we'd post some on here for people to see!

Hope you like them too!  I'll add another post soon with some updated pictures of Konnor's room.  (It's finally done) and any other pictures or updates we have!
